The Joys of Living With Aslan the Cat

My gift for rescuing the Orange banshee (at 4am this morning) when he was hurling himself at the floor to ceiling windows trying to get at a cat sitting on the verandah on the other side. Honestly the noise would have woken the dead. I thought I was being invaded by a herd of screaming Wildebeest.

I went downstairs to find Aslan in full flight. For a little cat he can sure 'pack a punch.' No amount of flapping, hitting the window or yelling at the interloper would move him. In the end, I managed to grab the hissing, snarling Orange banshee and throw him into the kitchen. But not before he got my foot. Then I had to go outside and chase the other cat away.

Visions of me half asleep, no shoes, in my PJ's (at 4am) chasing a cat across the lawn swinging a 2ft long door sausage.

I'm so glad my neighbours were all asleep.

I'm In Training for the Olympics

I've been watching the Olympics from Rio. I love TV hehehe.

It's inspired me to get into practice for the Cat Olympics. I'm getting really good at Rhythmic gymnastics.  The mauve pig apparatus is coming along nicely. My catch and release with sit is top notch even if I do say so myself.

Greetings from Aslan

Hello My Name is Aslan

My name is Aslan. I was given that name in the shelter so my human decided to keep it. I think it suits me. She does as well.

I am 18 months old. I've been living with my new owner for a month. I like it here. I have a big house to run around in. I have a garden to play in and trees to climb. I have a warm bed to sleep in and the best of food. Although I am getting a bit picky. She gets cross with me for turning my nose up and walking away hehe.

I've met the neighbours. They are friendly except for the big black and white tom who lives a few doors up. I don't like him.

I love playing hide and seek and playing with my toys. I hope you will enjoy coming on my adventures with me.
